build, we fight". From the island hopping of World War II and the cold of
Korea, to the jungles of Vietnam and the mountains of Bosnia, the Seabees have
built entire bases, bulldozed and paved thousands of miles of roadway and
airstrips, and accomplished a myriad of construction projects

honor and celebrate the 62nd Seabees,
their service during W.W.II including the

53 ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
I founded the MCB 53 Alumni Association in 1989, and
today maintain a database of 1,269 former members. Of these, 113 are
from the WW II Era, while the remainder are from the 1968 and 1969 Tours
to Vietnam.
